“Australia has sweated through the hottest March on record, with temperatures 2.1C above average.

The country saw daytime temperatures approaching 50C (122F) and during the night some places sweltered in temperatures higher than 30C (86F).

Blair Trewin, a senior climatologist at Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology, said the records were “quite significant”.

“That’s a big margin to be breaking those sorts of records by,” he told the Sydney Morning Herald.

“The December to March period is even more of a standout in that sense, given we had a record nationally in December, we had a record January, we had a record March, and February was also in the top few.

  1. OMG! I am so sorry…I hope the farmers stay strong and are supported by the government.

Our weather in Germany seems to become also much more extreme. A number of farmers are already changing their plants to adapt to the new climate.
In case of natural disasters they get pretty generous financial aids.
